Logan the ConversationistEdit

Logan the Conversationist is a web-series detailing the life and times of Logan and Michael; two roommates who are both stuck dealing with Logan 's inability to carry on conversation.

HistoryEdit

Logan the Conversationist was created by Logan Shelton and Michael McGathy at the end of July in 2010. Logan and Michael had been engaging in conversation with each other when in the midst of Logan's story, Logan forgot what he was talking about. The two found the situation hilarious and began to reference the situation as a funny concept for a quick sketch video.

The two began to write 9 webisodes to film and publish on Youtube.com. The first 9 webisodes were considered the original Season I, until the idea to add a third character, Hunter came into thought. Logan and Michael brought Hunter in to film the Season I finale, adding an additonal webisode to the first season. They then considered a second season, coming up with the outline for Season II in half a day and spending the latter half filming it.

After their continued amusement with the characters and the structure of the webisodes, Logan and Michael wrote the third season with intention to further branch the series out from its simple concept. The two filmed its third season in two days; the length in production time brought on by additional support with actors and effects. Once the season had drawn to a conclusion, Logan and Michael put the LTC series on hold while their academic season resumed and distance would separate the two by 741 miles, New York City to Cullowhee, North Carolina.

Though the audience was informed the series was over, Logan and Michael had considered making a fourth season before the end of Season III. The two created Season IV during the December of 2010, but do to time conflicts, the new season was not filmed. The postponement was well needed and served its purpose until the Summer of 2011, where Logan and Michael continued writing even past Season IV, penning an additional season.

The two spent a week filming the fourth and fifth seasons, working through a 40 page screenplay. Post-production will last until late February/early March where the first webisode will be released on Youtube following bi-weekly installments.

After placing a room for rent ad in the newspaper, Logan and Michael welcome Hunter as their new roommate. Despite having a new face in the apartment,Michael begins to grow jealous of the change in their dynamic; Logan begins to form a relationship with Hunter that eclipses his previous with Michael .
